{"id":495,"date":"2017-08-10T11:37:29","date_gmt":"2017-08-10T11:37:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/goodrichmagma.com\/demo\/?page_id=495"},"modified":"2017-12-05T05:11:50","modified_gmt":"2017-12-05T05:11:50","slug":"processing-of-titaniferous-magnetite-ore-in-magma","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/goodrichmagma.com\/index.php\/processing-of-titaniferous-magnetite-ore-in-magma\/","title":{"rendered":"Processing of titaniferous magnetite ore in MAGMA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Urals region (Russia) experiences an acute deficit of iron ore for blast furnaces of metallurgical plants.\u00a0 Iron ore has to be brought in from remote regions (Karelia, central Russia, East Siberia, etc.).\u00a0 At the same time, Chelyabinsk province (Urals, Russia) has large deposits of titano-magnetite ore with high contents of TiO2 and Vn.<\/p>\n<p>Complex processing of such ores by blast furnaces is practically impossible because of formation of high-melting-point slag with a high TiO2 content.<\/p>\n<p>The task\u00a0 of efficient and\u00a0 complex\u00a0 processing of titano-magnetite ores is solved by using\u00a0 highly efficient cooling system\u00a0 of the\u00a0 smelting\u00a0 unit MAGMA that\u00a0 allows to use high temperatures in the working space of the smelting\u00a0 chamber (Figure below).<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0 result\u00a0\u00a0 of\u00a0\u00a0 primary\u00a0\u00a0 separation\u00a0 of\u00a0\u00a0 titano-magnetite\u00a0 ores\u00a0\u00a0 is vanadium cast iron and titaniam slag, from which the following products can be produced at later stages of complex\u00a0 processing: vanadium slag (raw material for the production of vanadium alloys), steel,\u00a0 ferro-titanium, high titaniam slag (raw\u00a0 material\u00a0 for\u00a0 a TiO2-based coloring\u00a0 pigment, titanium sponge).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-991 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/goodrichmagma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/titano-magnetite-ores.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"644\" height=\"806\" srcset=\"https:\/\/goodrichmagma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/titano-magnetite-ores.jpg 644w, https:\/\/goodrichmagma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/titano-magnetite-ores-420x526.jpg 420w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 644px) 100vw, 644px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Processing of titano-magnetite ore by the proposed technology is completely waste-free.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/goodrichmagma.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/5.-Handbook-of-MAGMA.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>Click here for all other applications of MAGMA<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/goodrichmagma.com\/index.php\/magma-technology-from-russia\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1040 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/goodrichmagma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/back-button.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"90\" height=\"45\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Urals region (Russia) experiences an acute deficit of iron ore for blast furnaces of metallurgical plants.\u00a0 Iron ore has to be brought in from remote regions (Karelia, central Russia, East Siberia, etc.).\u00a0 At the same time, Chelyabinsk province (Urals, Russia) has large deposits of titano-magnetite ore with high contents of TiO2 and Vn.
